I now recall seeing wheels of these in my local beauty wholesalers, but completely over priced which is probably why I've never purchased them. After the recent hype and seeing various different ways of creating this look, I decided to hit the internet in an attempt to find these beads much cheaper than anywhere else.
Polish: OPI 'Dulce De Leche', micro beads covering the nail
Spread out slightly
I think my preferred way is to do this is only on my accent ring finger instead of adorning every nail in them, with the gold that might look a tad 'bling bling'. It may be something I'd consider for a different occasion, but I find this is a lot more subtle and I really, really love it!

I was just telling my friends about the caviar nail trend too! Haha, if I were to try it, I'd probably be like you and do it as an accent finger.
ReplyDeletePS: Dulce de Leche looks gorgeous on you!
I've seen it done on every nail and I think it looks too much! I love having something on my ring finger! Thank you, it's the perfect nude, one of my faves :-) xx
DeleteWhat a good idea to do it for yourself for half the price! The gold looks gorgeous :) xx
ReplyDeleteSaves so much money! Thank you :-) xx
DeleteThis is a great idea, saves alot of money too!

Thank you! It does, you can buy multiple packs of these, and in different colours for what you'd pay for a proper kit! xx
DeleteGreat idea to check out ebay for the beads and obviously it works just great! I'm not sure about this trend myself, I know that the the beads would end up in my food when I'm cooking and I'm not really partial to munching on glass beads!
ReplyDeleteHaha! I think they only last about 2 days, so great for a night out or special occasion but not too practical for everyday! :-) xx
DeleteThanks for this post, Ive have been searching everywhere for these cheaper alternatives. I love the look, but cant justify £18 myself. Defo a purchase for me!

So glad you liked it, thanks for commenting :-) xx
DeleteI've been thinking of trying this out myself so I'm glad it worked for you! Can't believe I have never realised that you're from Norfolk. I'm born and bred, but based in London now. Amy x

Thank you! Oh wow! I only added that to my 'about me' section the other day, but apart from that I don't think I've ever mentioned it before! Good old Norfolk!! I love London, I wish I had the chance to go there more often :-) xx
DeleteLovely. I've added it to my watch list. I agree maybe just the ring finger and not the whole hand. How do you make it stick? Do you just put it on when the polish is still wet?

Thank you! Yeah, literally as soon as you've applied the polish, put these on over the top and then carefully push them into the polish! :-) xx
